I buy these beautiful metallic kumihimo fibers on my annual trips to Japan. They are not widely available in the US, and my stock is limited. Take advantage while my supply lasts.
Package contains 1 rope with 4 bundles each, with approximately 24 threads per bundle.
These pre-cut metallics are the standard length used for making obijime in Japan. I usually fold them in half if making jewelry.
Braid length when folded in half: Approximately 30 to 34 inches.
Braid length with full 2.8 meters: Approximately 70 to 76 inches.
Note: The braid structure and the number of bundles per tama will influence the finished braid length.
Note: Photo is for color only. Photo shows a pack of 6 ropes, 2.8 meter lengths.
