These pendants are made of sterling silver and 24kt gold with a feature a high luster baroque pearl.  Each pearl is unique.  No two are the same so the one you receive will look different than the one that is shown here.  If the pearl shape is really important to you, just email Adrienne and I will send you photos of what is in stock.

Why the name Lovely Bones?
Maureen collects interesting things that inspire jewelry creations, such as owl pellets*.  The tiny little bones found in the pellet were used to create the texture on the bail.  We think it is lovely.
* An owl eats its prey whole. Indigestible material left in the gizzard such as teeth, skulls, claws, and feathers are too dangerous to pass through the rest of the owl’s digestive tract. To safely excrete this material, the owl’s gizzard compacts it into a tight pellet that the owl regurgitates. The regurgitated pellets are known as owl pellets.
