Spinner Necklace Kit

This exquisite piece showcases a sterling silver pendant, beautifully accented with a high-luster South Sea baroque pearl. Named for its captivating design, the Spinner features five sterling silver rings that gracefully move along the pendant’s bail, embodying the allure of motion. As one of my esteemed jewelry instructors once remarked, “the charm is in the swing.” Each pendant is hand crafted with a genuine South Sea pearl set in a meticulously fabricated sterling silver bail with spinning rings.

The necklace braid is an 16-strand Oimatsu using Japanese metallic fibers and black leather.  The acrylic clasp slides through the pendant so that the necklace can be worn with different focal pieces or on its own.

Technique:  16-strand oimatsu braid
Experience Level:  Intermediate braider – Experienced working an 16-strand fiber braid, directions are for the marudai. Instructions for the disk can be provided on request.
