Knotted Elegance Necklace

Students will learn how to make an elegant knotted necklace using cording and leather. Class includes techniques for making decorative wraps, easy ways to attach a clasp along with an introduction to cord knotting. Detailed, full color instructions include photos of artists work to inspire future jewelry designs. Skill level: All levels Kit $35 Kit contents: Cotton cording, suede cord and acrylic magnet clasp. Cotton cording available in three color pattern options, suede cord available in six colors. Instructor will provide necessary finishing supplies for students to share during class. No equipment necessary! Student supplies to bring to class: Tape measure and scissors. These are few of the color options

Twice the Love Bracelet

This clever Celtic knot bracelet is creating with color changing braids. Student will learn how to braid around a wire armature as well as bracelet sizing techniques. Skill level & prerequisites: Students should be proficient setting up and braiding an eight strand beaded kumihimo braid. The project can be made on either a foam disk or a marudai. Kit Price: $55 Kit Contents: Toho 11º seed beads, stainless steel wire, braiding cords, big-eye needle, metal connectors, and magnetic clasp. Student supplies to bring to class: Scissors, bead mat, braiding equipment of choice: round foam disk and 8 plastic bobbins or marudai, 8 weighted tama, and 25% counter weight. (Task light and magnifiers – optional)

Frilly Bracelet

Students will learn how to make a loop closure in a beaded braid. Class instruction includes adding a focal bead with frilly embellishments Skill Level: Students should be familiar with making an eight strand beaded braid. Project can be done on either a disk or marudai. No beadweaving experience necessary Kit Cost: $50, Kit does not include disk, marudai or braiding equipment. Kit Contents: Toho seed beads, glass lampwork bead, bicone crystals, big-eye needle, braiding cords, One-G beading thread, and #11 beading needle. Student supplies to bring to class: Scissors, and bead mat. (Task light and magnifiers – optional)

Triple Swirl Bracelet

Students will learn how to make kumihimo beaded braids while learning a fun ombre pattern. Skill level: All levels, no previous kumihimo experience necessary. Kit Cost: $40, Kit includes kumihimo disk. Kit Contents: Toho seed beads, braiding cords, big-eye needle, and magnetic clasp. Choice of three different color ways. Student supplies to bring to class: Bead mat, magnifiers and task light optional.    

Serendipity Necklace

Students will learn how to design patterns in beaded braids using Adrienne’s grid planner.

Ombre Bracelet

Students will learn an easy ombre pattern for beaded braids complete with a clever beaded magnetic clasp.

MORE Beaded Kumihimo on the Marudai

This project was featured in Bead & Button Magazine as Elegant Ombre Braids, December 2019. This bracelet achieves dimensional impact by stacking and then joining three separate braids together. Czech teardrop beads with a rainbow AB finish are the crowning glory.
