Diver’s Weight

These SCUBA weights are really useful for set up and at many other times during braiding. I know that often braiders use their weight bags for some of the things that I use my diver’s weight for but since I don’t use a weight bag, I needed something to use in its place. As a SCUBA diver I had a lot of these around. I think you will find these are very effective for placing at the point of braiding to hold your fibers in place during set up. It is great that the small shot inside is very malleable and heavy without any sharp surfaces and safe to use with my marudai. I have also found them to be useful for so many other things that I cannot imagine not having at least two of these on hand.

Substitution: A weight bag can be used in place of a diver’s weight.
