This is the only glue that makes a permanent bond and it is the only glue recommended by professional jewelers. Two part epoxy forms a secure bond between the clasp and the braid even when there is a small amount of empty space in the clasp end. In other words, the braid end does not have to fit tightly inside the clasp as long as any empty space in the clasp opening is filled with epoxy you will have a secure bond. So it also saves you the time and trouble of trying to find the perfect size clasp to fit your braid end.
